The Great Steak of Texas
A Festival Celebrating Frisco's Past

Great Art of Frisco

The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco partners with The Great Steak of Texas Festival to host the “Great Art of Frisco” area. The Great Art of Frisco offers festival patrons and artists an opportunity to experience art in many forms.

The Rising Star Exhibit. Visitors to The Great Steak of Texas will be greeted by a promenade of stars, all part of the Frisco’s Rising Star Exhibit. Each 60-inch metal star has been uniquely painted by an area artist or artist team. Organized by the Visual Art Guild of Frisco, the Rising Star Exhibit debuts at the Great Steak of Texas festival and will be displayed at various locations throughout the Frisco community over the next year. Sponsorship of the Great Art of Frisco’s Rising Star Exhibit will provide funding for the weekend exhibition.

Performance Stages. A wonderful performance opportunity for local performing art organizations and a terrific viewing opportunity for festival goers! Frisco-area dancers, actors and musicians will perform on various stages throughout the festival site; performances will be scheduled throughout the 2-day festival.

Artist Pavilion. Festival patrons will enjoy some of Texas’ finest artists' original artwork for display and purchase under the big tent. All types of art will be represented from authentic Texas arts and crafts, such as ironwork and woodcraft, to contemporary technique paintings, photography, sculpture and jewelry.

Madonnari Chalk Painting. Using chalk as the medium and asphalt as the canvas, professional and budding artists will create 6-foot square sidewalk artworks over the course of the festival.

Children's Art Area. An exciting adventure for the young artist, this large inter-active area will feature many creative activities, including mini-Madonnari, face-painting, and other fun activities for Frisco’s future artists!

Sponsorship of the “Great Art of Frisco” area at The Great Steak of Texas Festival will help bring life to art and art to life for Frisco residents and friends from neighboring communities! Whether you are looking for a corporate branding opportunity or a community-building donation for your family, there are numerous opportunities available with Great Art of Frisco!
